Would a Lasting P o A obtained in England apply if one moved to Scotland? One would hope the two systems would recognise each other's work, but that's probably naive.

I kind of assumed no since the public bodies that authorise / lodge them are different. But s_r is ahead of the game here 🙂

Sort of related/FYI - I have a Scottish POA but it didn't seem to work with Scottish social services till I paid £70 to register it with the public guardian........ after that it was fine ...................
