STW massive,

Long story*, but I have had a brand new washer dryer sat in my hallway for about 6 weeks now.

I have had a full refund on the machine, but the retailer have failed to show up to collect it on several occasions and are generally being pretty useless.

Does anyone have an example letter to assert my right to dispose** of it as I see fit if it is not collected within a certain time frame? I think this is 'Interference with Goods act 1977' but IANAL

Thanks!

* Didn't fit in our kitchen
** It's a very nice Bosch, new and faultless and I'm thinking someone would come get it the very same day if I stick it on eBay for the right price

write giving 7 days to collect then you will charge £15 per day storage up to two weeks then will dispose of to recover your fees .
