Ok post your leftover stories š I've had full 2nd re-plating of Christmas dinner lunch including respoon of the gravy from the fridge ! And buffet lunch that was from FiL who did porchetti
We also have 2 Christmas cakes to get through, which will probably sustain this thread until February as kids don't eat it and Mrs Ed only eats very tiny slices of it
Me; I'm this year's leftover - and sorry for changing the tone of your well-intentioned post.
I'm feeling pretty leftover after the drink.
I got some chafing dishes a couple of years back and they're great. Just leave the food hot all day and pick at it at will!
At the risk of incurring massive jealousy I have never met my in-laws and likely never will. Missus has to endure mine though.
'Leftovers'?
WTF are they?
Just had turkey curry with left over roast potatoes. To be honest it was the best curry I've knocked up all year.
Turkey, ham and leek pie here with a huge helping of red cabbage and the last of the sprouts.
We've just done Bubble & Squeak with lots of the gravy. Tasty š
I feel ever so slightly full šÆ

You're obviously not cooking way too much. You need a more wasteful wife!
I have a tiny bit of en croĆ»te left (spinach, chestnut and blue cheese) but I did make enough for about eight, there were two of us š³
Salmon pate for breakfast
Turkey sarnie for lunch
Medjoul dates for afternoon nibbles
Ham and mustard + Stilton and piccalilli sarnies for tea.
4 pints of various GF Ale and stout.
I maybe on the throne a fair bit tomorrow.
