straight in the fridge when its still warm or leave to cool to room temperature?

Cant remember , but which way is best to avoid nasty bugs?

In fact can I freeze it when its still warm?

No seriously rice is a sod

cool to room temp then into fridge, if you put it in warm it can raise the internal temp of a fridge.

same into freezer would be my advice.

Run it under cold running water if its just boiled/steamed rice till err.. cold, then freezer or fridge. If its egg fried from a T-away then personally I'd bin it, as it would have been cooked and cooled once already and then reheated.

its boiled brown rice we just made, and made far too much, shame to waste it.

I thought it had some bugs in it if it cooled to room temp?

Just run it under cold water till cold, refridgerate or freeze. Safe as.

if you just leave it out to cool thats where you can potentally get problems.

To many beers to be bothered about spelling but I know what I'm on about with the rice

Ok just let it cool sufficiently then pop it in the fridge.

what are you intending doing with it?
