Any recommendations?

The standard LED hut units aren't up to keeping out the rain

Steinel.

Expensive but good, reliable kit.

I've got the XLED Home sensor unit.

I bought a solar one from amazon. It lasted years as I took it to bits and used mastic around its seams.

I bought a pair of solar powered 50 LED lights from Lidl last year, paid £50 for the pair of them IIRC, very bright and easy to install.
I though the one on the back of the house had packed up, but one evening I was in the kitchen and saw the light come on so looked out to see what had triggered it and there was a fully grown badger:-).
