You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I am flying from Gatwick airport in the next couple of weeks and was just looking at trains to get there from Wimbledon. £25 return?! So I was thinking I would cycle there however i'm a bit unsure about leaving the bike there overnight (well from a Thursday-Monday in fact), reckon it might get nicked, even with a decent D-lock and cables round the wheels.
Anyone had any experience of leaving their bike there? How safe is it, is there anywhere decent to leave them or simply a bunch of bike stands somewhere?
Drop it in for a service at Evans Warehouse, collect when you return 😉
there's stands at the rear entrance to the airport, where employees go, I would imagine its relatively safe.
Aside from that, try pricing tickets to somewhere further down the line (Brighton or haywards heath) - you might find it cheaper
I've often wondered about cycling to an airport as a cheaper, more pleasurable and possibly even more convenient alternative! The website has some useful info here:

Yeah shermer, I read that, but I bet the CCTV doesn't work or has the image quality of a potoato.
5lab where are we talking for the rear entrance? Can you link a google map location of the stands?
I think the sheds are here

but I've no idea if you need a key/whatever to use them. The back door is just there, access off perimeter road east
