I’m starting a new job in a week and whilst I’ve not claimed to know excel/PowerPoint etc I’d like to learn some basics in case I have to help other departments during this WFH period.
Are there any in built learning tools or good YouTube videos worth watching? I’m reasonably mouldable as I’ve not picked up any bad habits but not a quick typist.
Thanks
My memory is that Microsoft themselves have some good tutorials that are worth going through. Most people never get beyond the basics so running through those is likely to level you up a bit. I've used them in the last few big jumps (97 to 2010 and 2010 to 2016) and found them very helpful
If you are looking at big data sets, chances are you will need to be able to implement and understand pivot tables.
Chandoo has lots for learning Excel
For excel, look up wiseowl and excelisfun on Youtube, two great channels with loads of tutorials from beginner to very advanced
Have a look at Udemy, or MS themselves.
I haven't done them for a while but previously the MS stuff was good, partly because it helped to understand the idea behind how it was meant to work rather than just how it worked. Don't know if that still comes through though

Thanks everyone I’ll have a look to see which best suits me.
