The idiot that I am, I filled up my lawnmower with petrol but poured it into the oil cap.. Draining and changing the oil was no sweat and the mower works fine but now I have a load of oily petrol. Will it burn ok in the mower, which is 4 stroke?
I am guessing it will be ok but smokey! Or will it die?

Would need a lot of thinning down if it was a 2-stroke mower, wouldn't bother putting it in a 4-stroke.
Must be hardly a litre of liquid, just ditch it, will be cheaper and less smokey.

It'll probably be fine but I'd save it for cleaning things or starting fires.
