Terrifying, those guys getting dumped in Blackpool and that flood evacuation esp. Amazing service, such brave volunteers.

I didn't see the whole show, but the lads who capsized the lifeboat at Blackpool deserve a medal.

Must have been terrifying being sent flying around by the waves and not knowing if they are going to smash them into the pier structure.

As I was watching that I wondered how they would do the recovery. Definitely easier but to build an elevated boat house and a big ramp like at Bembridge !

Volunteer I know on the IOW is a big roadie, Alps holiday every year etc. Trying to get him on an MTB, all round excellent guy, husband and father. Makes you sick really 😉
