For occasional home DIY use? Cross beams over single, green light over red.. anyone bought one lately?
Yes, a piece of string could do the same job 99% of the time, but who doesn't like a gadget.. and fricken laser beams?
I’ve got one of these. Happy with it so far.
Green Laser Level, papasbox 20M Self Leveling Horizontal and Vertical Cross Line Laser, Manual/Self-Leveling Mode, IP54 Anti-Splash Laser Level with Magnetic Base, Carrying Pouch(Battery Included) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08DTPQZ1N/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_5FXCW9JX7DA9QC2C2XJV?psc=1
Rate it highly, been very handy.
I have the Magnusson one above as well, was perfect for fitting my kitchen. Can be hard to see the line in bright light sometimes but generally great for the price for occasional use.
I've got the Screwfix one linked above also.
I'm happy with it and it's been absolutely fine for general DIY duties.
I've got the one above too.
I'm gonna level with you, it's good. 👍
Got a similar one to the screwfix one but green laser. Wanted to use it outside, which you can buy only in low light/shade. You need to spend significantly more to get one that can be seen over reasonable distances outside, but the one I have has been very useful setting levels for a new patio. USB charging rather than replaceable batteries, havent needed to charge it yet so lasts a while. Really good inside as well.
One of those 'even more useful than I thought it would be' tools.
this is the one i've got

possibly more than you would want to spend but i use it quite a bit at work.
Cheers guys, the recommendation for the Magnusson IM0301 seem pretty unanimous!
The Stabila looks a monster, and I do like skillbuilder videos, but again those recommendations are more for ppl in the trade & use them all the time.
