Hello
Looking for a new Windows laptop, <£500 with an i5 processor and a good screen.
By good I mean 1080p and not-terrible viewing angle and colour/black rendition.
Any suggestions?

Good luck. Looking for a similar spec i7 1080p screen a couple of years ago I managed to get a Lenovo with cashback. The screen isn't great for colour rendition but it at least gives me the resolution when doing anything vaguely work related (MS Project, Coding, SQL etc.) which I still find useful.
One thing I would say is budget for an SSD, makes the whole system feel so much more responsive. Oh and default answer round these parts seems to be Dell outlet.
