I'd be kicking up a fuss. It certainly doesn't sound "of satisfactory quality"

WarrantiesAll brand new goods are covered by a one year warranty, covering parts and labour. Some manufacturers include extended or on-site warranties which are in addition to our standard Morgan warranty.
In the event that a product still has remaining manufacturers warranty you may be asked to contact the manufacturer directly to resolve your problem.
In the case of secondhand, ex-demonstration and refurbished equipment, warranty periods may vary but in all cases these are clearly stated.
We are not responsible for any consequential loss or expenses, however caused, including incidental returns costs.
All goods remain the property of Bentham Limited until paid for in full.
A full copy of our terms and conditions is printed on the reverse of our invoice and is available upon request.
they say it comes with one year warranty
i had a problem with a laptop and had to deal directly with the manufacturer to get the repair done, they collected and returned free of charge.
ok , there telling me that toshiba will deal with the problem after the 3 months that morgan offer , i will give toshiba a ring , cheers
had the same problem with a 2 month old hard drive from Amazon - they will try and fob you off or point you to the manufacturer after 30 days but they do have an obligation for 6 months under the sale of goods act.
They relented in the end and swapped the drive for a new one.

Your contract is with Morgan, not Toshiba. It's up to them to put it right. You may, if you prefer, deal with Tosh instead, but you don't have to.
