Ive made a bit of a cock up and if anyone can help it would be much appreciated as the intel website is pretty poor.

Got a new laptop with win7. Plugged in the hdmi cable to the socket on the laptop, turned the tv on, got the message "not supported" on the tv.

Opened up the intel graphics control panel and chose the option to send signal to HDMI. Screen goes blank (on the laptop) but the unsupported screen stays on the TV.

My problem is that now i cant change the "send signal to HDMI" option as its not there without the hdmi plugged in, when i plug it in the laptop screen turns off. DOH. Is there a way to reset the graphics properties (specifically the hdmi connection) so i can start again.

cheers for any help.

There's normally a Function key for switching the video output, it will probably look like 2 little screens one of which is on and one off. Hold the Fn key and press it, might need to press it a few times.

select single display and then choose primary display as laptop. Or choose dual display and enable both.
