Having now acquired a laptop for work, can someone point me in the direction of a decent hard sleeve for when commuting by bike please? Amazon et al are awash with options but would like to minimise the send it back shuffle if possible. The laptop is a 13" Dell going into my commuting back pack and currently gets wrapped in a rather voluminous NHS pillow case which while functional isn't really a long term solution.
I'm using a Domiso case like this
Pops in the pannier and has protected the laptop on a canal commute for a year now.
is it a work laptop? ie owned by work.
ask them to provide something or just chuck it in.
Work isn't going to do that ! You get a standard laptop case and that's it. We'd get question's asked if we kept breaking them. It's £20 and piece of mind.
Any neoprene sleeve will do. I like crumpler. Mine sit inside a pannier briefcase and gets rattled by the road and have never had an issue. There is even less vibration in a rucksack.
