Following on from a couple of laptop threads recently I've been looking at dell refurbished to replace my 9 year old toshiba. Can I do better than this for the money?

Will be used for a bit of photo editing, garmin basecamp and browsing.
Thanks in advance, Graham
Windows 11 will be released later this year. It would be a good idea to check if that machine will support it, many older machines will not.

Cheers, I think even though its a refurb I don't think they're that old so should be ok
Looks a pretty decent spec to me, just paid the same for a new Lenovo i5 with 8Gb of ram. Screen size at 14" would be a bit small for me but might be fine for you.
Edit I wouldn't be worried about it not running Windows 11, Windows 10 had a few years left and was pretty backwards compatible with older hardware, runs fine on my 10 year old ex Vista laptop.
Looks like a good deal. Will be fine for running Windows 11 when it's released
I would have got similar, but needed it quickish. The refurbs are, apparently, refurbarised in China, so take a few weeks to arrive.
Website says 7 to 10 working days delivery?
I'd buy that in a second. in fact I'm now irritated that I paid more for a Lenovo last month.
Reviews are good, spec is more than enough for what you need.
I think the only thing that would put me off that is the graphics card. They had this on sale for £600 a couple of weeks back https://www.dell.com/en-uk/shop/gaming-and-games/new-dell-g15-gaming-laptop/spd/g-series-15-5510-laptop/cn55503
Which is what I went with, not sure how frequently they have those sort of offers.
If that’s not important that laptop looks very decent to me
You can email Dell (see this page) for a 10% discount off refurb stuff- it doesn't normally work combined with other codes, but might do on the unit you've listed since that seems like a normal website price.
Cheers for that. Just sent off for a 10% code. Hope it works. But even if it doesn't I think I'll go for one.
Exactly the laptop I am using right now!
If you do get it, I'd suggest running the Intel Driver assistant tool to get the latest Intel drivers and not just relying on the Dell supplied ones. I kept finding I'd get random freezes that were only solved with a full hold-down-the-power-for-10-seconds power off. All fixed with the most recent Intel UHD 620 graphics driver. It drives the on-board + a UHD monitor via USB-C fine for normal office stuff + e.g. GCN TdF streaming. Not tried it with any games or video editing.
