Hi folks

Battery on my Dell Inspiron laptop is old and goosed (not holding much charge). £65 for a replacement from Dell but anywhere else to check? Looking for something trustworthy - not a knock off fire brick!

Cheers
TS.

I went cheap (as always) for my old HP. Bought a year ago and is absolutely fine. Seller called coolgo2021 on ebay.

That's not unreasonable for the dell one, what sort of warranty does it come with? We bought a non-original off Amazon, and tbh it wasn't very good. It worked for a while, but not long really.

I bought a 'compatible' battery for a Macbok Pro a few years ago and it didn't last long. Unless you are planning to keep the machine for less than a year I'd get the real thing.

Bought a replacement for my HP Pavillion from Ninja batt about a year ago still happy with it.
Not the cheapest, not original price but enough in between to be worth the cost

Cheers folks. 1 year warranty with the Dell so I’ll probably go with that as there’s not much difference elsewhere.

I got one for my HP laptop from https://laptopbattery.co.uk/ and its still going strong nearly four years later. In fact, I think it's outlasted the oem one, so..
