I am looking at purchasing a Lanshan 1, but most of then seem to be listed on Aliexpress.

What's your experience of using it?  If you have purchased one could you recommend a seller please?

great tents.

just check the seller has decent feedback, nothing to worry about.

if you can stretch to the lanshan 2 you'll appreciate the extra room as the 1 is tiny

Great tent.

They don't come with a pole so you'll need to buy one & decide if you want single skin or double.

Bought one from Aliexpress a couple of months ago. Zero hassle, arrived a couple of weeks earlier than predicted.

I got the 1 and now wish I’d got the 2. It’s ok, but I think the space/weight/pack size is much more favourable in the 2.

There is a UK based seller if you'd prefer.  Can't recall the name though!

I'm 6ft3 and the Lanshan 1 (not pro) is the biggest 1 man tent I've ever owned.

I bought mine from this company, they were very good.

I originally bought one from Ali express but got scammed. Ali express were brilliant and refunded me but had to wait a while to prove it hadn't arrived.

I think if I was walking I'd buy the 2 as it makes more sense. You need two walking poles which you probably take with you anyway and you can sit out the rain etc in it.

Biking, I want to be as light as possible and I don't tend to stop, even if it's raining.

The newer version of the 1 is 270cm long although you can't use the edges for your head and feet but you can store some gear there.

Don't forget the pro series (single skin) can't be seam sealed with tape and they don't seam seal it with silicone before shipping. The normal version (double skin) has the tapes sealed with tape from factory and only weighs about 100g more. Also has the benefit of replacing the inner tent and ground sheet if its ever damaged or if you want the 4 season inner.

I have a lanshan teepee tent, got it from eBay though. It's been excellent but did need seem sealing around where the reinforced section of plastic for the pole had been stitched in. Found that out the damp way!!
