supported bymichelob ultra how big a paycheck for that I wonder? Also in the commercials some very nicely placed shots of Treks in action, sell that lifestyle!

Success breeds success.

It's the age old theory of sporting endorsements, something that cycling has been long associated with (perhaps longer than most other sports).

It's more interesting that there's greater confirmaiton that he's returning to the Classics next year. He might be a high;y objecitonable individual, but he certainly puts the cat among the provverbail pigeons of the peloton.

Totally, I have nothing but admiration for the man. Wonder if he can win Ironman 2011 as the rumors are hinting that his goal is? Wouldn't bet against him!

There's certainly been some interest in Australia over his appearance money for TDU.

Men, shave (your legs) and drink beer. Because you're already brilliant.

He inspired me to take up road riding.

Didn't he buy loads of shares in Sram?

I read his book, well, one of them, I'm sceptical.

Someone told me the other night that he's actually a right ****.

I have no opinion though.

I like how he's got people, who would never have bothered, into cycling. I like his cancer work. I personally don't know him very well so I can't comment on his character.
