We went for a paddle on Lake Windermere today, it looked flat, it felt flat but my Garmin 200 thing was showing 994ft of ascent and 1177ft 9f descent.
We set off and finished in the on the same place. The atmospheric pressure appears stable.
Don't understand.

It’s going up and down all those small waves. You wouldn’t believe it, but they add up

We also saw a man on a electrically powered sup cruising about sat in a low camping chair lashed to sup.
