No not a scene from Blackadder - looking for recommendations for a watch for my daughter - something up to £150 max.

I've looked at all this Michael Kors stuff and frankly it seems rather nasty without being dirt cheap

I liked the Mondaine ones when I was looking for my wife recently. Ended up with a Braun one which is a bit thinner/daintier. I liked its understated economic design. It seemed to go down well, though you can never really tell with my wife...!

When I gave my daughter the choice of a watch in that price range she ended up going for a rather bling Michael Kors thing when I was trying to persuade her to go for a nice Skagen one.
