So with a policy bereft Conservative party flip flopping from one bandwagon to the next, the Lib Dems still, realistically having no chance, and Labour clinging on for dear life, what do they go and do? Press the self-destruct button.
Arguably they've been doing this for the past couple of years but it seems that this week they're actively handing the hammer over to nail the last nail into their coffin.

It's politics innit. Same happened to the Conservatives (though Labour were clearly well organised at that point or at least let's say that the old lefties had been persuaded to keep quiet in return for finally getting into power in the naive belief that they'd be given free rein post-election...).
