I've started dabbling with komoot since I got my Garmin edge explore. But it doesn't seem to know the difference between footpaths and bridleways/byways. I like the functionality though. Any suggestions for alternatives welcome or am I using komoot wrong? Cheers
I've used "map my ride" before, but WAS going to try Komoot with my new Explore when Santa hopefully delivers it. Watching with interest.
Put the map layer as open cycle map, bridleways are green, footpaths brown, byways / gravel roads white with dotted lines.
Komoot is great love it tried all the others.
Thanks Jonny I'll give that a go. I wondered if I was just doing it wrong.
Cant get my head around Komoot, ive always used Ridewithgps and always been easy to use and faultless, unlike a lot of videos of komoot ive seen
Tried using Komoot for some route planning and found it shockingly clunky and the Strava route planning options weren't much better. GPSies, or All Trails as it is now is better for auto routing and the OS mapping site and app are good too despite no auto mapping.
