This is for daughters photography project. She's decided she needs to take photos of some derelict buildings. Thats about as much of a brief as I got, but I'm thinking more rural and properly derelict (ie no roof), and that we can get close to, or better still inside.
Don't mind a little bit cheeky but not urbex style! Closer to New Forest / Test Valley better too.
I know there was an abandoned house in Black Wood but I'm guessing thats probably gone now to make way for the holiday park.

I know of an uninhabited one that is a shell, has a roof that works though. Another couple that are disused animal shelters.

Have a look on 28dayslater. The hard to get into sites are pretty well protected and they won't share access info but there's quite a few easier options. Its arranged by area. Also lots of stunning photography on there for hints and tips

Can't think of anything around the upper reaches of the Test, I'm afraid. There's one abadoned group of farm buildings I know of on the trail between Grateley Station and Newton Toney, however. (Could combine photos with a trip to the Malet for lunch!)
Directions - follow the B3084 NW out of Grateley, take the second track on your left (After passing the newish build house on your right), where there are a couple of houses just off the road.
Follow that track straight along, past one farm, through the belt of woodland and then down the hill. It's at the T-junction of tracks at the bottom there. (In a field of yellow rapeseed on Google Maps)
For the Malet, turn right at the farm buildings, then first left up in to the woods. When you get to the top of the hill, turn right along the edge of the field down in to the village. (Or reverse if you're coming from NT)
What about that village on salisbury plain where the.army train? Cycled past it a couple of times on spam races...
i think there are some buildings on the old bushfield camp site at winchester - just off badger farm road.
not sure what access is there - last i heard it was better sealed up than previously...
Privit Church, not disused but well worth a look for an ancient Church on the Downs thats over run and spooky, open too, with fablulous architecture. Catch it on a misty day and hey... 😀

Old military OP on the Solent shoreline between Victoria country park and hamble. Does the Portuguese fireplace in the NF count?
Sopley camp near Bransgore - http://merryfieldpark.co.uk/ old RAF base (now called Merryfield Park), some units are used but loads are derelict, some weird buildings there including a huge underground bunker but I think this is off-limits though see http://www.subbrit.org.uk/rsg/sites/s/sopley/index4.html, a woman called Sue runs it all, I'm sure she'd let you have a look around, cheers

geograph.org is a good way of finding remoter sites - ruined and disused buildings tend to be labelled as such on OS maps and looking at that square on geograph you'll usually get some pics of it to give enough of an idea as to whether its worth the trek or not.
Maybe also look at events that have taken place locally on Doors Open Day, which might give some leads for more urban sites that unused rather than derelict
