Been diagnosed with arthritis in one of my knees, not much docs can do and they smileD when I mentioned mountain biking !, I don’t want to stop and they suggested getting a better knee support than the Velcro round one I use. So anyone else with similar issues recommend a more substantial support they use ?
Any other advice other than wait for a new knee when I’m 60 in 9 years time.......👍
Mines screwed, snapped acl and arthritis, joined a gym and actually tried, knee felt a million times better, stopped going over the summer, feels shite again
Vitimin d
Green tea
Tumeric all supposedly help
As far as knee brace I have custom made ones but find they are a bit too intrusive for general use, I have a cti one a donjoy and a breg, cti was the worst of the 3 due to where the pressure is, Breg I could wear all day if needed
That seams really odd advice. Arthritis can be helped managed by strengthening muscles and ligaments. Wearing a knee brace means muscles/tendons don’t get as strong as they could.
+ don’t buy a knee brace without medical advice they all do different things
