Anyone planning to watch?

Can't see anyway Fury wins..

Tries to box, he'll lose a wide decision

Rush in and go for broke, hes out of there within 3 rounds

Whatever Fury thinks, Wlad is 3 notches up from anyone hes ever fought before

Predictions?

I'm hoping Fury gets a beating, can't stand his arrogance.

I like boxing but have never seen Fury fight. Ive watched Vlad though....he's ultra cautious, has a great defence and imposing jab, so very difficult to catch. From what I can see, I think Fury will huff and puff and Vlad will catch him around the 8th as he tires. 8)

Surely with a name like Tyson Fury he can't lose?

Homer Simpson has already proved this theory to be true...

I've not seen Fury in his last few fights..last time I saw him was against Steve Cunningham, a blown up cruiser. He was awful, although hes apparently looked better since then.

I'm hoping Fury gets a beating, can't stand his arrogance.

Most boxers are, and I can almost forgive him for that, but some of his comments, ie about homosexuals are well out of order. Laughed when he says hes the fastest heavy since Ali however....he barely faster than Ali would be today if he got in the ring

Joshua whould absolutely destroy him IMO

I'll be watching. I hope Fury gets knocked out, but am predicting he'll lose on a TKO before the half way point.

Just looked at his record...hes not faought anyone remotely close to this level, other than chisora twice. First time Chisora was massively out of shape, second time he was shot after the beating from Wlads big bro and Haye.

I can't help but feel hes going to be massively out of his depth, and will realise this the first time Wlad lands with a jab..

My favourite Fury vid -

Don't like him, can't see him winning. Got my fight on Saturday, then it's straight into the bar to hopefully watch Fury get his (assuming I can still see straight).

Pondo...what fight you involved in. Was it you that started the white collar thread?

I've sparred a few times in the past..getting punched in the face was much more painful than I had imagined. Never had the balls to get in the ring proper, so took up mountain biking instead!

Yeah, that's the one - the Ultra White Collar Boxing shenanigans at Edgebaston this Saturday. Big night tonight, finally find out who I'm fighting, kind of looking forward to getting that hurdle over and done with. 🙂

Sparring's been great fun, although there is absolutely no doubt that getting whacked in the face is not by any stretch of the imagination a bundle of fun...

I will not be happy in life until someone sparks Fury out, I mean well and truly on his arse sparko.

I want to see him humiliated, but guess what, it will be the most boring fight ever witnessed with barely an obvious outcome, for this is modern heavyweight boxing.

I don't follow punching each other but happened to read something in the Metro this morning from him. Makes Donald Trump seem a pleasant person.

Klitschko is the cash cow of the heavyweight division, and this will probably be Fury's career high payday. He has mentioned retirement and a KO will probably mean he does.

As much as I don't particularly like fury, with his outdated views etc, he has been treated badly by the sport....he has been calling out any heavyweight for the last 3 years, and no one would fight him. He also won an ABA super heavyweight title in 2008, so he must have something about him.
They are both big blokes, and both have impressive jabs...they also both fight better on the back foot, counterpunching.
Whilst fury doesn't have anywhere near as much experience as klitschko, he is hungry with huge self belief.

I think this will be closer than anyone gives him credit for.....I can see it being very boring, jabs and cuddles, and going the distance.....klitschko wins on points, as he is the home champ

Agreed two big lumps hiding behind the jab is my guess

WHo wins we wont care by the end

Fighters like the Klitshckos and Fury have ruined the heavyweight division. A fighter as unskilled as Fury getting a major belt could be it's death toll.

Sorry, I'm not up on my boxing, is fury the God botherer? I heard an interview on 5 live a couple of weeks ago where he said there would be a surprise at the end if he won! Have to say that he came across as a right dick, although I wouldn't say that to his face obviously!!

Klitscko has the proven track record though the heavyweight division has been poor during his rein. I don't think it's likely to be a classic but Fury has size and heart which might just surprise an ageing champion. If that happens then step up Mr Joshua...

got to agree. when you see the quality on offer in UFC, boxing needs to be careful, otherwise it's going to be on it's knees in a couple of years...

not sure I rate Fury's jab..more of a paw than a jab if you ask me (although obviously its all relative!)

Klit's jab on the other hand is a ramrod, other opponents have said its as hard as a straight right

If Fury wasn't from the Uk noone would be giving him a chance. I think hes in for a rude awakening.

The only thing that will save Fury from a beating is Wlads safety first approach. Combine his skills with his brothers spite and it would be absolute carnage. Wlad is far to underrated in my opinion. Look what he did to Haye, who IMO is a far superior fighter than Fury.

I think Klitchko is underrated, wasn't it Haye who said being hit by that jab was a whole new ball game. He isnt the best boxer the heavyweight world has ever seen but was doing a number on Lewis before the cut stopped him. He is very safety first.

Fury well God knows what he will bring to the ring, he isnt a destructive puncher and never looks in the best shape but he is tall and with a long reach.

I predict a plodfest with Klitchko on points,

Anthony Joshua against Dillian White will be interesting

Cant see Joshua ever meeting Klitchko but Klitchko has just signed a 5 fight deal with German TV so you never know.

I'll give you live updates if you want!
What terrible value for my £16.95 - two nobody undercard fights, a song by an old ladies favourite (with appalling sound quality) and a big delay cos of Klitschko's nonsense. Oh gawd, now the anthems 🙄

Better be a good fight and a British winner (even if he is a twerp)!!

He may be, but hes landing far more punches. He said K feels weak too
That awkward front arm defence K uses isnt working as well as normal

Yeah, it's a strange one. K seems content with his usual jabbing while sizing up his opponent. Fury on the other hand looks so uncouth yet he's the one having a pop.

If a fighter of furys calibre can be unified champ (as this decision should go) then heavyweight boxing is dead.

Resurrected? How? We just have another poor, boring champ is all (except this one is a knob).
I'll have another look once Joshua gets to that level. Every other division makes the heavies look amateur.

Anyway, bring on AJ!

Resurrected? How?

Cos he'll get the public interested, and he'll fight decent fighters. And he won't be boring. All the god-bothering is a pain though 😐

Seriously....what was so bad?

Forgetting him as a person, he outfoxed him, pure and simple.

He had a plan, and executed it perfectly.........as I said up the top of the post, he is way better than people give him credit for. You don't win an ABA title without having something about you!

What decent fighters? The best fighter he beat to get that fight was Chisora!!! And he is boring! Just because he has limited brain cells and no filter, it doesn't make him interesting. Just gobby.

I'm sure he is a bit of a knob, but you can't help but wonder if he sits around with his mates getting dared to do all this buffoonery, the fancy dress and singing stuff. It's dicking about as much as anything, it's not like he's spitting on people like Chisora.
