Long shot this, but I've been offered a job with Kier at their north east office and wondered if anyone had any experience of working there, or as a subbie for them, and could shed any light on the place - positive or negative?
I know a couple folk who work for them as site managers, both been there long term and both would have plenty other options if they thought it was shite.
tried glassdoors.com or whatever it is called?

Appreciate that, thanks.

No, but I'll have a look if Kier doesn't work out
Great people, but they are a PLC and this tends to put the focus on the profit rather than their staff.
I’ve been much happier at a privately owned competitor.
Edit - they do pick some interesting projects though!
Which bit of Kier is it you’ve had the offer from?
Sorry, just noticed the thread title answers my question!

I think (although I've not used it) it gives anonymised reviews of employers so you might be able to find out something about Kier from it. Maybe you knew that and I missed the joke but I'd never heard of it until a few months ago.

I'm coming from a similar outfit so can understand this point of view!

No, I didn't realise that, it just looked like job ads at first glance - I'll dig a bit deeper!
What role have you been offered?
