Is there a single song in history with kids singing on it that has been any good?

Another Brick in the Wall is fine until the kids start.

Kriss Kross - Jump

Musical Youth - Pass the Dutchie

Michael Jackson could belt out a tune when he was a nipper.

RHCP’s aeroplane?

I assume you’d consider Althea & Donna not to be kids.

I'm sure there's a few more hip hop ones - didn't Jay-Z use/sample Hard Knock Life in an early track?

Here's a 16 year old girl belting out one of my favourite cover versions of a song ever....

I'm not a massive fan of the rest of her songs but she nailed this one.

She was like, 16, iirc. She touched me last year, she's not 16 anymore, but it made me happy 😀

Good singing, but irritating as hell every Christmas.

And to think he got all the success off the back of The Snowman but he didn't actually sing it for the film! The kid that did had already broken his voice by the time it was being re-done for commercial use, so they got Aled to do it.

"Never Forget", Take That, unashamed fan

Admittedly limited involvement from the kids

I'm using one of Joss Stone's mum's old bar stools as a planter in my back yard.. and I chopped up another one and used it for floorboards in my camper van.

Which in my book, pretty much makes me one of the beautiful people.

Don't think this really counts as it's ranting not singing, but it makes me laugh every time I hear it. Kid on the beginning & end:

Gary Numan track 'My Name is Ruin'. His 11 (at the time, now 13) year old daughter Persia on backing vocals.

How odd, my colleague asked me exactly that yesterday (and cited Brick in the Wall as a good'un).

I give you:

"You can't Always get What you Want"

I give you:

“You can’t Always get What you Want”

Is that a different one from the Rolling Stones mentioned earlier?

It's clichéd to be cynical at Christmas - HMHB.

School's Out.

Theme from a teenage opera?

I’ll just leave this one right here; her third single, but it didn’t get to the top of the charts until she was a year older...

Then there’s this one, written when she was thirteen, recorded three years later:

These siblings were all teenagers when they made their first recordings in their home-made studio, something like 11, 14 and 16:

“You Can’t Always Get What You Want” is the best kids’ voices song of all time evah.

Pedant alert.

it was actually the London Bach choir singing on that classic track, not a bunch of kids.

Bill Wyman's pic of the choir on the day of recording below

Was it? Damn, you're right to be pedantic, however, if those sopranos at the start aren't young boys I'll erm, well, I'll be very surprised!

So, clipping. has to take the crown then 😆
