My two lads are ready to head out onto the water. Will be inshore waters in dinghies/kayaks only. What's a decent life jacket/buoyancy aid? Only summer months at the mo. Kids are 3 and 4. Recommendations please!
The lifejacket I have is made by Marinepool - though the buying criteria was something cheap with the relevant kitemarks. Not really sure what the benefit is of spending more for general inland messing about in boats (it's mostly used for going out in an open canoe). The more substantial ones are generally aimed at use offshore where conditions can be a bit more challenging.
Good water awareness for both the kids and you is also important - I presume if you're thinking of taking kids out that you're very competent yourself?
