Went for an intervals ride today with my 2yo in the trailer providing extra drag. My first outing mostly on roads too - suburban ones very quiet, since it was Sunday evening. Still a little scary though because there were still plenty of pillocks trying to squeeze by before roundabouts and so on.
Was able to ride much faster with the trailer than I'd thought - training must be working.. had to ride with the brakes on for some of it.
Yep, kids are great as training partners, whether its the kind of ride you've just done or even something as simple as laps of the cul-de-sac with unannounced emergency braking/trackstanding while said child anchores up in front of you for no reason 😕
