You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Myself and a mate are walking the BGR route over a few days from friday, Rugby club looks about the best place to park, but we'll be starting early doors, how do they take payment?. Or any other options?.
Ta!
There are two main carparks in the town that are longstay, not cheap (£11 per day).
But if you do use them, avoid the 'app' as it doesn't give you a status of 'paid', until the next day - so "did I pay?". Use a card in the machine.
Try the road outside the Derwent Hotel in Portinscale. If you can get towards the bridge where the road ends its free and should be ok for a day or two.
The road at the bottom of Lattrig would be worth a look, especially early doors. again, no restrictions.
BB walked it in 22 hours, what's up with yer?!
;0)
I'm sure I've parked on the road up towards the swimming pool for free before, but tbh I'd rather pay a few bob and not get in anyones road.
Sparkles, have you seen BB's walking pace? haha
Note - Keswick was absolutely heaving when we were a couple of weekends ago.
Council website says you can buy a month pass for £27.58 and reccomends it for staying more than 3 days. Or you could email the rugby club.

I have! ;0)
Just for info if anyone else is looking in the future, got booked into crosthwaite road car park (football club) via parkonomy online, £9.40 for 3 days, worked perfectly.
Thanks all.
