I’m having a garage clear out following a house move and need to post a frame and set of 26” wheels; however said house move appears to have relieved me of any large cardboard boxes.
Would anyone in the Kendal/South Lakes/West Dales area happen to have either a frame box or wheel box lying about which I could have in exchange for a donation to Mountain Rescue? Only need one of each.
Plan B is to ask Wheelbase if they’ve got any!

I have got my last couple of bike boxes from Halfords..
The Cycle Mechanics have always been more than happy to let me take boxes.. (saves them carrying them down to the recycling bins for one!)
I have a wheel box, but am in Skipton, so not really worth your while - I'd be going with your plan B.
They are always shredding them down at wheelbase?
yo, i have one! I'm in Lancaster if you're keen. a child's bike came in it from Decathlon, but they shipped it in an adult box for some reason..
Brucie's, The Giant Store, Evans or Halfords are all in Kendal. I'm sure one of them could help.
Kendal Evans are only there for 11 more days.
They’ve been closed with the first swing of Sports Direct’s axe. Popped in over the weekend and it feels very low in store. I feel gutted for them, they were always very helpful for me.
The next nearest store is Preston, and while click and collect is free you now have to pay £5 flat fee for delivery from the web so I can’t see me using them that much any more.
