I'm currently looking for for a lightweight 2 person tent.
Has anyone got any experience of Kelty tents? Specifically this one that seems to be a good price for the weight:

Usual camping locations will be spring/summer/autumn in Scotland and the Alps.
No experience of this tent, but I think in our climate condensation could be a problem with a mesh inner like that. Could drip straight into the sleeping area.
The North Face Rock 2 is similar, they do European version with proper inner: http://www.trekkinn.com/outdoor-mountain/the-north-face-rock-2-green/22406/p
1800mm hydrostatic head? You'd better hope it doesn't rain. 2kg+ isn't lightweight either.

Heap of lightweight tents HERE Not exactly the cheapest site but it might help you decide what style you're after and you can then go hunting something cheaper.
Kelty are fairly big in the US and I've looked at plenty and always thought them decent. I've had several tents with mesh inners and condensation is not a problem. We get the odd drip onto the mesh but it doesn't even come through. In fact when it's damp (ie always here) they are great. Colder in the winter though of course. It can be pretty cold early and late in the season in both the Alps and Scotland of course.
I bought a Kelty tarp shelter this time in the US and it was pretty good - well made, light and effective.
