A few weeks ago I took a train up to Newcastle to go to a gig with my lad. The woman on table behind me spent the first twenty minutes or more on the phone to her mate complaining bitterly and very loudly in detail that you really didn't want to hear about her love life (he did sound like an arsehole TBF) but i think by the looks of everyone else in the carriage around me with whom I made eye contact, we were all getting a bit tired of it all. Anyway, the call ended and she stood up, and knocked over the plastic cup of wine she was downing (it was a 10.45am train from Manchester) onto herself.
I wasn't the only person smiling to themselves.
