Just heard a news story about Kabaddi on the radio so thought I would look at some on youtube.

I watched it for about 10 minutes but have no idea what is going on 😳

Crowd is going mad for it, anyone seen any in real life or even played it?

We used to try and play it in lunch break at school when I was about 12. I seem to remember you could only be in the middle bit of you kept saying "Kabaddi", and it was a bit difficult!

I used to like it on C4 - it's all timed by the lone guy holding his breath, but so he doesn't cheat and breathe back in he has to keep saying kabbadi all the way through

He has to touch the opposition and then get away without being caught IIRR. If he does that, he gets a point or the touched guy leaves the pitch, or they all go off for a curry or something

Ask around a bit more, and you might be able to figure it out.

I'm not holding my breath, though.

Taxi!

Basically British Bulldog, but you're not allowed to breath. I was never sure how repeating the word Kabbadi quickly, indicated that you were not breathing though?
