He really isn’t and I’d say that whether he was a mod or not, though the wording you refer to isn’t great I’ll admit.
Wow, I assumed the post you replied to was Del just being silly. Was it actually supposed to be serious, do I really come across that badly?
Wow. 😲
I’ve met Cougar and honestly he’s one of the nicest guys I’ve met.
Aw. Thanks man.
You probably need to meet more people.
I'll admit I thought Del we being serious.
there were no smileys or nuffink but, unless there's some serious history between you two, that is also how I read it!Wow, I assumed the post you replied to was Del just being silly.
News to me if there is.
Apologies to @Del if I totally misinterpreted his post. Christ, I seem to struggle with the obvious these days.
Welcome to the wacky world of text-based communication. It's easy to misinterpret posts.
Personally I think you're all bastards.
Ah, crossed posts, I've just seen Del's reply at the bottom of the previous page.
GROUP HUG!*
(* - socially distancing Zoom hug)
do I really come across that badly
No actually you come across as pretty well balanced and genuine but occasionally not quite as on message as certain individuals would like, which i think is a good thing.
Crack on.
PS I assumed Del was being sarcastic for what it's worth.
PPS still think you should just pay the fine and move on, life's too short.
yellow lines on the road, apparently the lines on the road also apply to the pavement,
The footway is always part of the highway that the lines apply to. Bitter experience of leaving my motorbike partially parked on one when we lived on a street with an 8am to 6pm restriction outside the house.
you didn't know you can't ride a motorbike on the pavement?Bitter experience of leaving my motorbike partially parked on one
You didn’t know you can push a motorbike?
But yes, someone else said similar earlier. Yellow lines apply to the street and the pavement behind until they hit a structure.

You see, I just thought Del thought you were a bastard and I couldn't even get that right.😁
🤣🤣
Hard to argue with that, to be fair.
Personally I think you’re all bastards.
personally i'm upset you don't remember that night we shared...
edit, who knows what’s too far anymore
Heres a simple suggestion, borrow a wheelchair and trundle round your local town/shops for half a day with a freind to take pics and see how difficult it is to navigate streets/parked vehicles/kerbs, and much more.
Done it for work and its a real eye opener.
oh and dont let your freind help you navigate kerbs or any other obstruction, youre on your own.
One of the many issues that my sister in law had to deal with that eventually lead her to dignitas, was falling out of her wheelchair trying to negotiate an inconsiderately parked car.
On a lighter note, you were lucky it was just £35, I got impounded for a similar offence a fair few years ago - £60 fine plus £150 towing costs plus jumping through hoops to prove the car was mine before they slap another £50 per day storage...
Knowing Del, he has a dry sense of humour.
Actually I'm still not sure whether he likes me or not.
😉
I’d just pay up and move on. Oh and you’re a monster.

One of my first jobs included advocacy for disabled access groups. To this day I get angry with pavement parkers who just don't think or don't care. This is a heartbreaking example of why it matters.
