You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I am going away for 10 days and the place I am traveling from doesn't have any long term parking. Just Park is claiming I can park in nearby ASDA and if I pay them (Just Park) £34, I can use it as long term parking and be exempt from restrictions. Seems like a good option and reasonable price, does anyone know if it is legitimate though?
We've done that with Sainsbury's for a multi-day gravel trip. Paid online and left the car in a random Sainsbury's carpark.
I’ve used it long term in Sainsbury’s too. The service / co is legitimate.
Thread pivot to most sensible area of the car park to leave it in…
Completely legit. I left my van in the one next to the Adrossan ferry for a few days no issues, it was a lot cheaper than terminal parking.
As to @Scuttler’s point - as far aware from the entrance to both the store and the car park as you can get
Or try Evology who are now taking on the long term parking provision for ASDA. Quite normal, a lot of the big supermarkets sell some of their excess spaces to commuters.
i would have thought Asda have subbed out their parking control to JustPark (As they have been doing for decades, to NCP et al.), but JustPark (and RingGo etc) are taking advantage of having this resource.
Great business idea to be fair. I wonder if they have a limited quota of vehicles they have have on a long term ticket at any one time.
I would be looking for the most remote corner of the carpark OR, if a rougher area, directly under a camera.
I'll be parking next to vehicles belonging to friends, each of whom have a much nicer car than me. I'll park in the middle.
only one day but I used Justpark to park in an Asda in Burnt Oak and was all legit (as in, I haven't recieved a FPN!)
JP have fab customer service so if anything ever did happen they'll likely sort it / compensate you
