[Closed] Just dropped my shockproof camera and it will.................

The SD card has a little slidey switch on it that Write Protects the card. It's got knocked on when you dropped it.

Slide it back and try again.

The memory has a write portect tab on it which had been knocked on with the shock?

Maybe it knocked the slidey write-protect thingy on the memory card?

There is a little sliding tab on the memory card which activates the write-protect.......

Have you checked the side of the card? There's a little write-protect tab there, apparently.

Perhaps that could be the problem.

Happens a lot to mine. The tab was very loose. Finally got round to gluing the tab today as the superglue was right next to the PC while I downloaded some pics.

Do you have a small tab on the bottom that you could adjust, perhaps?

Flicked the tab on the memory card and still no luck not got another to try!

Oooooooh. That's not good.

If another card doesn't work then I'd suggested the little switch inside the camera that "reads" the position of that tab is jiggered.
