I can hear it arguing with something else - probably one of the 300 cats in our street That think our garden is their litter tray.
The answer to cats is a Springer Spaniel with a vicious hatred of them. My old one would stalk them and lay in wait in bushes to pounce them.
Now questioning wisdom of a night camping in the garden with my eldest tomorrow not sure I want that finding is way into a tent with him asleep in it.
Edit wife says no to spaniels for some reason but is a dog lover.

Ours hates them too. She's never been aggressive towards any dog without it getting up in her face too much and just freaks out with cats but she goes after foxes.
