Are we expecting complete curfew, lockdown, snowmageddon that badly? Not a loaf of bread left in a huge tesco! Plenty of burgers though which made me chuckle!

My local garage is empty of any food-remarkable, also ran out of diesel.

Did the Asda run earlier - very little bread left.

Mad.

I was in Sainsbury's this afternoon there was a guy asking if they had any plain white flour left, the answer was no there'd been a rush on it this am?

Loads of bread though.

If he had risen earlier, instead of milling about, he would have probably got some.

*coughs*

I got a two pack of egg custard from our little Tesco.

Bread...no idea.
I wanted egg custards.
And I came away a happy man.

So, highclimber - how long are you expecting to be snowed in for with your 8 pints of milk?

Any reason why everyone suddenly gets a craving for bread in these situations?

I had to go to our local Co-Op for one or two things, and the only thing that had pretty much sold out was bread.

There are hundreds of meal options, yet for some reason it's bread that everyone freaks out about.

People are weird. And, in this instance, massively stupid 😀

Careful you don't develop crohn's with all that milk. Fight - can do if you want.

As for bread - I don't even eat the fat/carb-loaded, wheaty, bloating shit. I couldn't give 2 hoots if Tesco's have sold out.
