So 8yr old monkey jnr has his first outdoor Cub camp this weekend. The only bit of kit I need to source is a sleeping bag. A Spring/Autumn one will do but if there's a decent one that handles colder temps then I'm open to ideas.
Anything better than the Vango Junior jobby?
Ta
Really impressed with this we got for 8 year olds first overnight
Unless it's having to be carried, buy a larger sleeping bag and just tie a belt/strap around it to the correct length. You'll have a lot more choice and it'll accommodate growth.
Go outdoors hi-gear own brand spirit jnr convertible is 3 seasons and reasonable cost
Our kids have the Vango ones and they are really nice.
Nice one chaps.
Am picking up one of the Eurohike 3 season bags this afternoon @ 50% off. If he takes to this camping lark then I'll check out the more scalable options later.
Cheers
House of Fraser seem to be selling off loads of gelert stuff - got a 2/3 season for 20 quid..
