And was it in an end or a family stand?

Mine got taken on the spur of the moment. Age 12.

To see Bradford City. Normal seats, not family.

I think it cured him properly. He certainly learned some new words though thanks to some of the blokes behind us. 🙂

This season. She's 11. Liverpool vs Bournemouth. Depending on how her interest is over the next couple of years I may even let her have one of my season tickets. Main stand upper tier.

Five - Stirling Albion.

My youngest was a ball attendant at the age of 8 but has now passed the duties to my oldest (just turned 11).

At 3 the eldest was given an introduction to live football at Bromley FC, crowd of about 400 tops, and you pay extra to get a seat. Very casual affair where they are free to run around and there were 6 of us there together. I am not sure she took in any football, but rather appreciated the opportunity to sit outside and eat sweets and chips.

At about 4.5 years old we went to the Valley, back when Charlton were in the Championship, crowd of maybe 15,000 which was 2/3 full, went in the family stand, liked it and have now had season tickets there for the last 4 years.

Have also been to Wembley and the London Stadium, full to capacity, for that you definitely want them to be a bit older as there is no running around/playing etc, and the hassle of just getting there and back is a nightmare. Eldest is 8, and I would say thats too young to be able to have an enjoyable day out at a full premier league ground.

My oldest son went to his first game at about 6 or 7 in a quieter part of White Hart Lane (east stand/shelf side), this was in the eighties though and the 'troubles' had just started to die down.

My 5 year old grandson has been to 2 games this season so far, both in the raucous Park Lane end where nobody sits down. We were a bit dubious about taking him so young but wanted him to be able to say that he attended the old ground. He absolutely loved it, especially the pre match pub banter!

C'mon the BINOS !

First game I ever went to on my own was aged 11, living in Dunblane, can't remember who it was against andnot sure the folks knew I went but it became a regular thing for the 3 years we lived up there.

I have great fun reminding Liverpool supporting mates I have been to Annfield more than them.

Had a grand day out the other year doing a day trip to Forthbank by train from Harrogate and plan on doing so again.

Me ? First game my dad took me to was a 1966 World Cup game at Middlesbrough, aged 8
