Yes I'm going to give nasty nasty sky 20 of my pounds for the pleasure of watching but as we can't be arsed to go to the pub due to the shitty weather as was planned I see it as a saving.

Who's your money on?

I could be tempted. But after a morning cycling, an afternoon assembling flat pack furniture and a few ales waiting for the kids to go to bed, I can’t guarantee I won’t fall asleep and waste 20 notes...

joshua btw.

Paying to watch boxing is a No-No for me ..I pay Sky enough as it is ..but that apart it could all be over inside the first minute and then I would feel well naffed off ..

Joshua ..inside the first minute ...😁

if anyone has a valid stream for the fight pm me please. Otherwise you can usually find a half decent stream on fb live.

I’ve paid for it. Looking forward to the fight and can’t be doing with streams cutting out or freezing every few minutes.

Think AJ should do it but don’t think it’s going to be easy for him.

If you are looking for streams use reddit boxing streams.

Can't believe price has got a big fight after his performances of the last few years, but he seems a really top bloke and it would be great to see him pull off a massive shock against a two time drug cheat,he deserves some payback.

Uber dull first round.

A bit of respect for one another if anything.

Neither fighter impressing.

AJ to knock him out late on or else win on points (as he’s done all the prowling while Parker simply walks the ring).

Not sure what Parker’s game plan is ... he can’t get near AJ.

not sure what the ref was doing. negates both fighters abilities

No surprises from the judges.  Easy victory and probably one that AJ will learn from.

Parker out of his depth.

Anyway, time for something a bit more lively ... switching over to the cricket in the hope of seeing a couple of quick wickets.

shite end

no different from the beginning or the middle

It was never that far a decision and I thought he negated him very well and looked like he was never in danger. His boxing was excellent IMHO  though it was a technical spectacle rather than a sluggfest and it was a dull technical one.

Bit of a dull match in the end, but hey ho. Shame about the refing.

Who next for AJ then?

Funny you should mention that, my picture was a bit dodgy for the first 5 mins but that was when I first tuned in for the undercard.

Joshua could have knocked him out, but would have had to put himself at risk.  Winning easily on points involved zero risk, so you can't blame him.

Glad I streamed it from a disreputable source.

Hopefully the Wilder fight will be a bit better.  Parker wasn't what would be previously classed as world championship material - conditioning alone....  Come on man, you're being paid millions here!

I do however fear for Fury vs Joshua.  I think Fury would beat him on boxing unconventionality and nous...

I think he would ( or will) struggle again Povetkin, who is a good boxer, just too small. The way he finished Price off.. I was surprised Sky showed replays after the Whyte coverage!

is it just me, or does AJ, despite being a 'unified champion ' still come across as inexperienced in the ring? He looks to me like someone still working their way up with a lot of improving to do. Needs a Tim Witherspoon to put him in his place and then start to learn some proper techniques before becoming a decent champion. State of the game, I suppose.

This for me.   This is the first time I've seen him in the big ranks on PPV.  What I thought I saw last night was someone turning away / in a bit of a throwing arms panic when Parker started roughing him up.  Keep doing that and he's going to get hit badly.

Then again, I'm no expert...

He is inexperienced but what are his handlers going to do, I think he is about 10 fights ahead of himself.

Thought he did ok yesterday, did enough and now has three belts.

He is inexperienced, but his natural athletic ability is carrying him through. Fair credit for taking the big fights straight away (relatively).

He's got a way to go yet, but could be something special in 5 years time. Unfortunately  I suspect he'll be retired by then.

Good win but I feel a fully fit Fury would beat him.  I do lament the dearth of talent in the heavyweight division, where have all the great US fighters gone?
