Got to feel for him always coming second to his brother.
Not that he seems to mind.
He's not short of wins.
Though he probably trains day in day out with his brother and they'll know who the fastest is.
I reckon he'll be around for the next Olympics while Alistair goes off and has a bash at *Ironman.
* other long distance events are available for those who aren't brand whores.
I thought they had another Brownlee lined up for the next Olympics!
Great race for British fans, crap for neutrals though I reckon. But I'm chuffed 🙂
biking 40K and running 10K in wet shorts makes me feel sorry for him...
Two years younger, he'll get that gold !
Always getting the bottom bunk, just like the Schleck brothers 🙁
Why doesn't he *just* stay with him??
Reminds me of one of the most famous cricket sledges.
James Ormond came out to bat in a match with Australia with Mark Waugh stood at slip. Waugh didn't hold back and immediately said 'what are you doing out here, you are clearly not good enough... to play for England'
Ormond replied: "Maybe so, but at least I'm the best player in my family". Waugh's twin brother Steve Waugh was the captain of Australia at the time.
just like the Schleck brothers
I'm sure the Brownlees didn't buy very expensive 'training plans' though.
What about the poor third brownlee, sitting on the sofa back home!
Of course not, they're from Yorkshire aren't they?
Talking about a third brother and the Waughs. In a previous job a Australian creative was coming over for his company induction. I noticed his name was Waugh but didn't think anything of it until I met him and saw the family resemblance and asked the question to find out indeed he was.
I wonder if the Brownlee's would be so successful without each other to train with and they obviously help each other in the swim and bike sections.
sibling doping is the accusation now.. there from yarkshire best place in the world get over it.. we re all heroes here//
Why is Alistair so fast?
...because of his brother [/misogyny]

I doubt they would - without each other for both training and competition I'd bet neither would have such a successful record.
Maybe PX will call their next bike the "Brownlee" 😆

Was he any good at cricket?
