Does anything exist in the bike world for joining / extending a brake type cable? It's to relocate the door handle on the back doors of a van. It's cable operated and has the nipple on the handle end, so I need something that will take that end and then clamp to an extension cable with a nipple on the other end of that.

I can probably make something but was hoping to do it the easy way 🙂

Cheers

Can't you just run a longer cable?

Sorry I don’t think I was totally clear, joining the cables isn’t the problem is making sure the outers butt up against something so they have something to pull on.

Like so

Edited. Just seen your update. Can't think of a standard part to do that but it'll be easy to bodge

No, of course not, I need to make it extra complicated.

(I have no idea why I didn’t think of this. Obviously this is a much better idea 🤣).

I’ll investigate what type of cable I need!

Have a Google for "male nipple clamps". That's what you need...
