been ill for some time, but sadly passed today from cancer.

a place in the sun's regularly on our tv, dreaming that one day we may be able to afford it ourselves  (we wont).  probably our favourite of the presenters, always cheery, made us laugh and often took the p1ss out of the house-hunters.

only 50, no age at all.

RIP

Exactly that for me too, I watch Place in the Sun for the same reasons and it brings some overseas sunshine into our front room.  Jonny had a great character and news of his cancer was shocking and sad.  RIP, not a great Friday for some is it.

He was brilliant at the sunny niche he found, and didn't take things too seriously . Hopefully the dirty dog treatment the producers of Place in the Sun showed him did not hasten his demise

That’s really sad, he was also a keen cyclist. I remember one episode where people were looking at houses abroad and in the UK and he visited a custom frame builder.  It’s certainly no age and his poor children are still so young…

Not familuar with his work but from interviews on the news the courage he showed highlighting his illness and facing it was very brave and important.

Tragic for his family. **** cancer.
