Love it.

Been on radio 4 about 15 years hasn't he? Every time I listen to him I think "oh god not this" but then it stays on and I start laughing 😀

I saw him at Buxton a fair few years back with a mate. He was great!

Loved 500 Bus Stops too.

Saw him in York a couple of years ago, supporting John Cooper Clarke, both were bloody brilliant (as was Mike Garry who was also on the bill). Up and down like a brides nighty!

When Jilted John was on the radio, our boss was called Gordon and the manager was called Barry, so the words of the song were so apt.

Took my Dad to see him on tour last year, We both laughed like drains for the whole show, was seriously tempted by the merchandise in the foyer too, Commemorative tea towel and thermos anyone? Will be returning for this years tour too.

Went to a car show this summer, and tucked in with the Astons, Ferraris and other exotica was an Austin Ambassador, Y REG! fair made my day it did!

Just thought I'd have a quick check of when he's on tour and I now have a ticket for The Old Market in Brighton in February 🙂

Found this last night. Very good.

'Having fun on the A1111, just like the A1 but 4 times as good' was a highlight for me.

Used to listen to him back in the days of Radcliffe and lard on radio 1 in the evenings. Imagine my delight when I discovered he was my cousin's partner. Never met him though and they are now separated.

There is an uncanny resemblance to John S character and my Uncle John....

There is always a sprint between me and my partner to the radio remote whenever he comes on without us realising he is on next.
Who ever gets to turn it off first gets a cookie.

The same happens on the TV remote whenever Mrs. brown's boys appears.

Well a thank you from me suburbanreuben. If I hadn't seen your thread I probably wouldn't have looked to see if he was playing locally and I wouldn't have had a fantastic evening last night seeing him at The Old Market in Brighton.

AVDave, He's good value isn't he! Saw him in Milton Keynes a few weeks back. I particularly liked the "How's your Nan?" number.

+1 thanks to Reuben for the gentle reminder

I might get laughed at now, but wasn't he also Frank Sidebottom? (I could have googled it to save face you know).

Going to see him in Manchester in March.

'Mingling with mourners' is the best, closely followed by 'incident on the snake pass'
