Reckon he's trying to land himself the newsnight job, and doing pretty good i like the way that he stares at the person speaking, one of those stares you know is there but don't want to look. Why the rower?

Dunno why James Cracknell annoys me so much, I think it's his chin. Harsh eh?

I suspect Cracknell might be a blue-boy. Also a bit rich of him to be going on about people being afraid to criticise Brown, given how he behaved in Antarctica.

Can't stand Humphrys, had to turn the Today programme off this morning he was so irritating. Does he ever actually listen to anything anyone says ever?

Correct Brown and your bonuses are on the origins of quantum theory...

Reasonably balanced interviewer although I recall him giving Cardinal Cormick O'Connor an easy ride a little while ago.
Possibly to be expected from a published agnostic who sees sitting on the fence as a virtue.

My GF loves R4 but I've slowly come to loathe 90% of the stuff on it, and Humphrys was where the rot set in.

to me Will Self comes across as someone trying to do an impression of an intelligent person.

I too find Humphries too much on Good Morning, thankfully he seems mostly absent recently, I'm all for digging for the truth but not before a few coffees.

I think he could do a good newsnight.
