bad luck Mrs Toast, Blitz bites the dust with some good old friends. Codies will always be looking to hire if you don't get on with the Rebellion deal.

Sad news, indeed.

...time to monetise those rainbows, Mrs T.

Ooh, mysterious Klunk, who be thee?!

But yeah, really sad news. It's a shame because the Olivers genuinely loved that company, and tried everything they could to keep it going. Still, onto pastures new (or newish, worked at Codies nearly ten years ago, heh...).

In the meantime, I'll keep working on my alpaca pet game for Android. IT WILL BE MAGNIFICENT!

Good luck with whatever the future holds, Mrs T!

Yeah, people tend to make their way around the industry quite a bit! Can't relocate too far outside of Leamington though, as t'husband is at Sega.

And cheers, there will definitely be rainbows!

Also, you'll be able to shave and dye your alpaca, then make it funny outfits out of its own wool. I HAVE A VISION.

I'm sure Mrs Toast's will have more rainbows, and that alpaca is distinctly monochromatic. It's also unshaven, which makes me suspect that picture is from the 1970's

Gutted for you!

There's a few of us on this site who got stiffed when Eurocom shut down last year. Not a nice thing to happen

All ended up well though, at Crytek in Frankfurt now. Loving it! 🙂

I know a couple of people affected by this, you probably know some friends of friends.. good luck with life anyway. In IT at least these things tend to work out for the best in my experience.

Cheers guys!

Yeah Jon - I actually feel pretty lucky, nearly 10 years in the industry and this is the first time I've had a studio go from under me. Artist who sits next to me says this is her fourth.

Good to hear you're enjoying it at Crytek in Frankfurt, one of my former colleagues went there and always speaks really highly about it.

Ex Eurocom here, and know a few people at Blitz.

Crap situation to be in - best of luck, hope you get sorted soon.

OK, don't know if we've got any employment law specialists on here (I'm planning on popping into the CAB next week), but does anybody know if your former company can disclose your salary to other companies without your knowledge?
