The right applicant will be an expert at designing networks with security in mind. Experience of Checkpoint, Juniper, Cisco firewalls essentials. Any cisco or Juniper switch and router skills will be extremely useful. Also desirable will be Unix/Linux skills, shell/perl/python scripting capabilities.
Knowledge of AV, strong authentication systems, and in depth knowledge of VPN's, RADIUS and CA's would be advantageous. Active Directory/Windows security, proxy and email gateway experience are also good to have's. IT Security policy definition and PCI compliance experience would be useful too.
Based in the North West (Warrington), I need someone who is very hard working, is prepared to work long hours to get the job done when needed and is not afraid to work evenings and weekends to complete tasks. It'll be challenging but interesting work and you'll be busy.
Package will be pretty good in the current climate I reckon. And best of all, whoever gets the job, will be working for me.
