You want to toughen up, hippy - you're off to work in Austrialia in the mining industry where men are men and so are the women.

😉

No, no more posts. I don't want to be reminded about how dull my job/life is.
(Just joking, keep them coming and good luck.)

What about those big birds that have a wierd spike on their head and will cut your belly open with it if you annoy them.

Someone told me even the cute things are vicious and a koala bear will scratch your eyes out if you go near it.

I had heard that snakes aren't much of a problem in Aus any more.

The ever growing population of spiders have eaten them all.

Ok serious I know im going to eat eaten / bitten / stung to death. FFS I got bitten twice by something in the office yesterday, in the uk, so it doesnt bode well! 😆

Hehe its less fear more trepidation. The Mining / work side of things should be fine, ive worked with drillers for years and run sites much bigger than this which I wont have to do out there for a while.

Now the big issue, how am I going to get the bikes out there...

Ok - 30kg weight limit on the flight SO might just manage DH bike (18kg) and a hardtail Jump bike, one pair of shorts and a tshirt.

Or sensible the Heckler and some cloths and ship the DH bike and jump bike.

Was thinking of contacting a local bike shop in Perth and seeing if they would receive a shipment of bikes for me as its likely to turn up when im in the bush!

^this one. And don't forget some suncream. You don't need to take your own cloths, you can pick them up over there I'm sure. I'd take some clothes with you though.
